I would like to congradulate savannah,tori and jenna on a 9-3-5 triple play in the first inning of todays game.It is my understanding that this happens in less than 1 of every 1000 games played.So if you missed it like I did your going to need to watch another 999 games.

Lightning Nation should be proud!! Congrats to all the teams......class and style throughout the organization all weekend long! It is a pleasure to work with and coach such terrific young ladies and have such supporting families.

First off I would like to say THANKS to all the coaches players and parents who survived the sweltering heat this weekend. This weekend established the Lutz Lightning organazation as a strong force in the tampa bay area with teams playing in the 8u,10u,12u and 14u divisions. Even though no Championships were won this weekend we made it known that we are building a fastpitch organazation that will win may championships in the near future. Good luck to all the teams and again THANKS to EVERYONE who has helped make this possible.

Great showing at your first tournament 12U Red!!! You should all be very proud of yourselves...you had a great win and held your own out there on Sunday. Great things will come as you continue to learn how to play together. Thank you coaches, great job! It was a blast to watch!

WAY TO GO 14U BLUE!! You girls really went to Bradenton and showed your stuff. We are really proud of all of you and everyone should be happy with their contribution to the tournament. Thanks to Coach Jamie, Jan and Lindsay for coming out to support us! You all rock. Also a BIG thank you to Coach Kenny & Chrys for showing their support to the Lightning even though TK was guesting for the Misfits and a HUGE THANK YOU to TK for wearing her Lutz Lightning helmet while she was guesting with the Misfits. LOL Last but not least, thank you Grace Street for your awesome pitching that helped us to win. GO LUTZ LIGHTING!!! P.S.- GOOD LUCK CAITLIN JEWELL AS YOU GO ON TO PLAY FOR HAVOC. Hey Coaches and girls I just wanted to give ya'll a very big Congrads on your second place finish. We (Xtreme) tried to handle ya'll twice and came up short the second game. My daughter pitched against ya'll the first game and was too sick the second game. The coaches are a group of top notched respectful guys and you girls are a group of very good ball players. I had to congratulate the Lightning. You are a class outfit: players, coaches, and a few parents I spoke to. Playing all those games on Sunday under that brutal sun, I still marvel how you came back and won the semi game. Most teams would have folded falling behind as you did to a very good team. Not the Lightning! That game was an incredible display of perservearance, team work, and individual determination. In my book you are champions. I think that game and the unforgiving sun conspired to make the finals very difficult. Nonetheless, you fought to the end. Congratulations from a grandparent of a Davie player.

There was no poison in the STING.3 If your ready for an AMBUSH it has no power.4.If you dont play EXTREMEly well you will get beat.5.THUNDER always follows lightning.6.If you play EXTREMEly well you will win.7.Well rested giant homerun hitting BRONCOS are hard to beat after a 6 hour LIGHTNING storm in Bartow. Congradulations girls ALL of you played hard and never gave up.Thats what makes good teams GREAT.
