Lutz LIGHTNING FastPitch - BRING IT ON!
Welcome to the home of the Lutz Lightning Fastpitch Softball organization. The Lightning are the fastpitch division of the extremely successful Lutz Leaguerettes organization located in Lutz, Florida. With over 310 girls dedicated to softball, ranging in age from 5 to 18, the Leaguerettes kicked off its fastpitch program to accompany it's already successful slow pitch program in 2008. Following try outs that occurred in the spring of 2008, the Lightning fielded teams in four age groups - 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U and the Lutz Lightning story was begun. A story we are confident will carry on and spread the tradition and excellence of Lutz Leaguerettes softball for many years to come.
The goal of our organization is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates.
We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our organization is a positive influence in the lives of our children and players.
